A2 folding 'shifting image' poster/booklet

Here is the final outcome of my folding A2 poster

Shifting image

Another brief given at uni was to change an object's meaning by photographing it in different ways. I chose a fork and took photos from different angles and perspectives, changing the lighting and composition of each frame. The words I tried to portray are Unattainable, Spooky, Feisty, Gregarious, Mundane, Monumental, Precious, Languorous, Bashful and Subdued. The poster when printed will be folded into a book, so the upper half of the poster is upside down (so when it folds all the pictures are in the right position and facing forwards!) Poster size is A2.

Illustrator - vector view

After an illustrator workshop we were given a mini brief to draw the view out of our window using the programme. This is the first time I've ever used illustrator before, and it was actually really addictive!

Finished type specimen

After some feedback from my tutors, I have edited and up dated my booklet and I am now able to print it! Here is the finished layout on the computer so far. Hopefully it will be printed tomorrow.

Type specimen poster

I have also designed an A4 poster to promote my typeface. Downloads are still available on Fontstruct A few other versions are below as well.

Type booklet

I have nearly finished my type specimen booklet.. although a few more adjustments could be made so it's not the finished version!

Type specimen booklet

After producing my font on Fontstruct, we either have to design a type specimen booklet or a poster to display it. I have been designing a booklet, and here is the layout so far:

Occupy Bristol

One of our projects for communicating with images was 'sense of place'. We were all given a location, and then had to represent it in 3 images at 3 different times of the day. My location was College Green, and when the brief was set, it was when the protests began all over the country. I started to photograph the Occupy Bristol protests and used these for my project.

7 words

After our life drawing session, we had to choose a drawing we preferred and draw it 7 times representing different words. The words were; Happiness, Despair, Isolation, Confusion, Celebration, Order and Pride.
